I’m Kaytlyn, I am a doctor of physical therapy + strength coach. I believe that pain with lifting. Isn’t normal. And unfortunately until now, you’ve likely heard to either “stop lifting if it hurts,” OR have been told to push through it.
I learned that the healthcare system isn’t built to help lifters in a meaningful way. I found this through my own journey with injuries and strength training helped me overcome my injuries (and surgeries) more than rehab ever did.
As a competitive lifter myself, I realized that lifters are so underserved AND under-heard. I believe that keeping you in the gym, is the best way for you to get past this pain and injury.
